ISEM2025 @Kanazawa, Japan
We joined the 17th Congress of The International Society for Experimental Microsurgery (ISEM2025) in Kanazawa, Japan from May 15-17, 2025.
In this meeting with microsurgeons from various field joining, we had the opportunity to participate in workshops and the CROWNJUN CUP.
Dr. Yelena Akelina, Dr. Naomi Lammens, and Dr. Alberto Ballestin held the workshops for 2days, lecturing the techniques of suturing and anastomosis.
The Workshop was a success with 18 doctors at Workshop 1: Basic Aspects of Microsurgery,
and 17 doctors at Workshop 2: Advanced Aspects of Microsurgery. CROWNJUN's MICRO TRAINING KIT had the opportunity to be used at the workshop.
At the CROWNJUN CUP, participants competed with each other by suturing 8 stitches with 10-0 sutures within 15 minutes. Under the judge of five doctors, the 1st and 2nd best participants who excelled in the speed and accuracy of suturing were awarded.
