Thammasat Anastomoses Skull Base Workshop @Bangkok
We joined the Thammasat Anastomoses Skull Base Cadaveric Workshop and Live Surgery, held at Thammasat University, Bangkok, Thailand from January 18 - 22, 2025.
The workshop kicked off with an inspiring lecture and live demonstration by Prof. Rokuya Tanikawa, focusing on neurovascular anastomosis techniques, including side-to-end, side-to-side, and end-to-end anastomosis. 38 young doctors honed their skills during the hands-on session, using CROWNJUN's 1.5mm silicon practice tubes and 9-0 sutures.
Prof. Tanikawa highlighted the importance of consistent practice to master suturing small, delicate cerebral vessels. Prof. Tanikawa also highlighted the importance of reducing needle hole bleeding in vascular anastomosis. This is why he chose to use Crownjun Nylon 65µm 10-0 sutures in his neurosurgical procedures.
The session sparked great interest in CROWNJUN's training sets, with many participants eager to improve their techniques further.
We appreciate all of you who joined the workshop and visited our booth!
