Microsurgery Vascular Anastomosis Skills Competition @Dengzhou, China
We joined the Chinese Worker's Technical Association Super Microsurgery Vascular Anastomosis Skills Competition held in Dengzhou, China from November 1st-3rd, 2024.
We provided our 0.25/0.5mm practice tube and 11-0/12-0 super-microsurgery sutures to the competition and PICOCLAMP to support the competition.
The competition was joined by more than 800 doctors from more than 100 top microsurgery hospitals from all over China. Microsurgery professionals actively prepared for the three-days competition, and they perfectly embodied the great craftsmanship spirit of microsurgery. During the challenge session, doctors utilized our 12-0 sutures to anastomose rat's blood vessels within 0.1mm in diameter, surpassing the limits of the world's super-microsurgical anastomosis. We received positive feedbacks from the organizing committee and the doctors who joined the competition which is a great honor to us.
Furthermore, four doctors from Japan participated, playing a key role in deepening the theme of the competition: "international cooperation and interaction."
During the competition, the "Chinese Workers' Technical Association Professional Committee for Microsurgical Repair Skills" was newly held, and we were elected as one of the members of this committee.
Together with microsurgery specialists, we dedicate in the further development of microsurgery in China.
