The 76th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Japanese Association for Thoracic Surgery
We exhibited at the 76th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Japanese Association for Thoracic Surgery held at the Sendai International Center in Miyagi Prefecture on October 19-21, 2023.
Our products, KnitPatch (band) and FortaPyknó is a cardiac repair patch aimed to reduce needle hole bleeding. With the combination with LEVEL FREE x ACRI, suture needle that excels in shrapness and strength connected to suture creating less level, we pursue minimally invasive cardiac surgery.
The luncheon seminar held on the 19th was chaired by Dr. Yoshikatsu Saiki, Cardiovascular Surgery Department, Tohoku University Hospital.

Dr. Haruo Yamauchi, Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, University of Tokyo Hospital, presented the theme "Experience of Using KnitPatch (band) on Aortic Surgery" and Dr. Hajime Ichikawa, Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, JCHO Osaka Hospital, delivered the theme "Clinical Experience of Using the New Type of Cardiac Repair knitted PTFE patch (Forta Pyknó)," and shared the clinical experience on our cardiac repair patch.
Besides our PTFE patch products, Forta Pyknó and KnitPatch (band), we exhibited our PTFE felt products, Feltect/Feltina, and our suture products, LEVEL FREE × ACRI, ASFLEX and TEFDESSERⅡ at our booth.
